The dynamic duo that spawned international sensation, Beyonce are calling it quits.

Tina Knowles filed for divorce last month from husband of nearly 30 years, Matthew Knowles.

Rumors have circulated for quite a while now that the two were no longer on good terms, even going as far as stating that they lived in different houses.

Matthew was an IBM employee prior to being the iron-fist manager of Beyonce and his other daughter, Solange as well as mega singing girl group, Destiny’s Child so I seriously doubt he had a prenup written out prior to jumping the broom with Tina.

So, what was the straw that crippled her marital back? Was the allegations that he impregnated a supposed mistress and she was demanding child support? It would be enough for me to kick him to the curb.

Tina is not one to sit at home and watch from the sidelines but one who was very privotal in her daughters’ careers and also bringing in her own stream of income. She is a stylist, fashion designer and the creative mind behind House of Dereon, a clothing line she co-launched with Beyonce in 2004.

No word has yet to be released from the Knowles camp on details for the separation.

I thought they were separated a long time ago but now it’s official. My parents divorcing hurt me but I couldn’t imagine handling in the public eye.
