covergirl-smoky-shadowblast-smoky-eye-reviewOccasionally I get into girly girl mode and I will spend a little extra time on my hair and makeup.

When it comes to my eye makeup, I tend to experiment with colors, techniques and styles and I absolutely love the smokey eye look.

Unfortunately, after months if not even a whole year of trying to perfect it, I have never been able to get the smokey eye look without looking like I’ve been told twice to leave a physical bout moreso than a beauty statement.

Thank goodness for the creative engineers at CoverGirl because they made achieving the look so much easier with their Smoky ShadowBlast.

After reading reviews that the new product from the cosmetic queen, that it tends to crease and wear off, I had my hesitation but I tried it out anyway.

What can I say, I love taking risks.

Since my skin is a little oily, I applied a thin layer of powder before trying out CoverGirl’s Smoky ShadowBlast in Onyx Smoke.

And it worked.

Not only was it easy to apply but it looked good. I did have to do a light touchup after about three hours but that’s normal for me because of my skin type. After a few seconds of blending, the look was good as new.

Overall, I enjoy the CoverGirl ShadowBlast and have a brand new sashay and sense of accomplishment because of it.
